The principles defining the Dharma for this new era are called the Dharma Sutras. Sri Tathata proclaimed this new Dharma on January 21th, 1991 at Sarnath, near Varanasi (Benares). The Dharma Sutras say creation is purposeful. All activities of Nature have been directed towards the completion of that purpose ever since the beginning of times. That purpose is the same for all the realms of creation: express their full potential and reach their full flowering. As far as man is concerned, the purpose of creation is the attainment of perfect divinity. The Dharma Sutras are the continuation as well as the natural flowering for this age of the teachings given by the great tradition of Masters of the past. They teach us how to follow the path of Dharma in eight major steps so as to reach Divine life and build a Divine world.
